Seasonal Closure at Pattee Canyon
|
The Forest Service is extending the seasonal closure at Pattee Canyon DGC until the wet areas of the course have dried out.
The Closure was put into place to protect the groomed cross country ski trails and to limit use of the area during the wet spring months. Please respect this closure and help spread the word. The Forest Service is patrolling the area and issuing warnings and $75 tickets.

Thursday Night Bag Tag/Course Clean-up Rounds
|
Our Thursday Night Bag Tag/Course Clean-up rounds have begun for the 2008 season. These are FREE rounds that anyone of any skill level are welcome to come out and play, keep the course clean, and most importantly, have fun. We will start at 6:00 PM every Thursday night at the signboard near hole 12. Brian will be there by 5:30 each week to take GCF Club Memberships.

2008 Garden City Flyers Club Membership

Anyone of any skill level is welcome to join the Garden City Flyers Disc Golf Club. The easiest way to join the Club is to attend a Thursday night Bag Tag round. Club membership for the 2008 season will be $20. Bag Tags will be $5. In addition to being a part of the future of disc golf in the Missoula area, you will receive the following with your membership:
Your choice of a DX Roc, a Pro Destroyer, a Star Aviar, or a Crystal Z Buzzz disc with the GCF logo hotstamp.
A mini with the GCF logo hotstamp
Voting priviledges at Club elections and votes
Eligibility to hold Club offices
Eligibility to become a GCF Eagle Club Member

New Tee Signs at Blue Mountain
|
There are new tee signs at Blue Mountian for the blue tees. They now feature a map of the hole in addition to the distance. These signs were made by Rob Partain as his Senior Class Project and were installed by members of the Garden City Flyers. Thanks to Rob for all his work and to Taco Bell, Turner Sign Co. and Hellgate High School steels class for their generous donations!
