The Garden City Flyers DGC and Prudential Missoula Properties are proud to host the Zoo Town Open on June 2 - 3 at the Blue Mountain and Fort Missoula courses. This year's event will be a B tier event for all divisions, but with A tier like payouts. In addition to the weekend competition, there will also be a random draw doubles event on Friday night with added cash sponsored by Brooks and Browns - who will once again be hosting the Player's Party on Saturday night.
We are planning on adding MANY player amenities to this year's event and as always will have a healthy Player's Pack to make sure all competitors feel like winners just for entering the event!!!
REGISTRATION WILL OPEN Mid April and be available through this site. 90 spots will be available online, first come - first serve. After that a waitlist will be kept. 5 "Sponsor Exempt Spots" will be available for Silver Level Sponsors ($100+ in cash/schwag) and above until 2 weeks before the event (May 19). 5 spots will remain available for PDGA Touring Pros until May 19th at which point any remaing spot will be filled from the waitlist. For the purpose of the 2012 ZTO ONLY, a Touring Pro will be any male with a rating over 1000 or any female with a rating over 930. Last year, this event filled in about 16 hours. We are expecting somthing similar again this year for Montana's premier event so be prepared to register on the 9th.
Sponsorship is coming along, but we are always looking for more to continue this event's tradition as the biggest in the state!!! A fundraising letter will be published in the next week or so with all the details, but in the meantime, please consider donating to the ZTO, or talk to your boss about donating to the ZTO!! Cash is prefered, but we can use any schwag, too.

Any update on the reg. date? I might be visiting family in April so just want to prepare for my favorite tournament of the year! And I'm holding you accountable Brian if I miss it
Registration for the ZTO will open Tuesday, April 17th at 8:00 MST and will be available through this site. Last year this event filled in about 16 hours and as non-PDGA members will be allowed to play this year, I would expect it to fill that fast or faster this year so be prepared to register on the 17th!!
Now is also the time to consider volunteering for a couple hours or for both days the weekend of the event!! We realize that not everyone will be able to play in the event, but volunteering is another great way to be a part of it AND you'll receive a full player's pack, too!
Plans are in the way for a very special item in the player's packs that I think everyone will really like!!
Fundraising is coming long, but we could always use help!! All the proceeds from this event will go directly to finishing the tee pads at Blue. If we meet our goals early enough, there is the possibility of having another 9 tee pads in (in addition to the 18 that will already be in) by tourney day. So if you can, please click on the (soon to be created) sponosr ZTO button and help Blue Mountain out!! We are also looking for merchandise that can be given away in the raffle.

Just under 2 weeks till reg opens... Here are the Reg fees and divisions offered. If you don't see your prefered division, please note which division you would like to compete in and if there are enough players, we may add it. We would like to have as few divisions as possible so that players can compete in as large a division as possible. Current PDGA members will recieve a $10 discount.

Mystery Ranch is continuing their support of disc golf in MT by donating a brand new Galf Mahal to the ZTO!!! This bag will be raffled off during lunch on Saturday, June 2nd. Tickets will be $10 and there will only be 50 sold, so get yours quick!! Tickets will be available beginning with registration Tuesday.
