Will have more info soon, but save the date - May 19th - for the Spring Classic at Camas Hotsprings. Camas Hotsprings is located in the town of Hotsprings located just 75 miles NW of Missoula. Still working out all the details, but camping is available on site or lodging is available at Alameada's Hotsprings located across the street from the course, or Syme's Hotrpings located in downtown Hotsprings and with live music on Saturday nights. And of course, some of the best hot water on Earth can be found on site at Camas Hotsprings!!! This year it is a part of the MT Points Series, too!
Make plans to complete the "Hotspring Swing" of Sward's Ranch/Norris next weekend then Camas Hotsprings May 19th!! All the reg details will be posted soon and online reg will be available through this site.

There is a hotsprings pool on site to soak all your troubles, and OB strokes, away!!!! Cost to soak is $5 per person.
Come up and play this very unique, for MT, course!! It is located on an old ball golf course that is still manicured for it. There are several (shallow) water hazards and OB on most of the holes to add lots of difficulty to this links style course. If you've been here, you know what it's about. If you haven't, you don't know what your missing!!!
I'll post directions and more course info soon.
Directions to the Knucknees' Basin course at Camas Hotsprings.
From Missoula - Head north on Hwy 93 towards Kalispell. Take a left on Hwy 200. After about 20 miles take a right on Hwy 382. Follow for about 25 miles and take a right on Hwy 28. After about 3 miles, take a left on Hwy 77 to Hotsprings. Just after the 45 MPH sign, take a right on Camas Rd. Take your first left on North Rd and the driveway for the course and hotsprings will be after the old coral on your right.
From Kalispell - Head south on Hwy 93 and take a right (west) on Hwy 28 at Elmo. Follow for about 15 miles and take right on Hwy 77 to Hotsprings. Just after the 45 MPH sign, take a right on Camas Rd. Take your first left on North Rd and the driveway for the course and hotsprings will be after the old coral on your right.
From Couer D'Alene - Just over 2 hrs and when you figure in the time change, it's only an hour away heading east. Take I 90 west. Take exit 33 at St Regis and head NE on Hwy 135. After 20 miles, turn left on Hwy 200. After about 10 miles, take a right at Plains on Hwy 28. Follow for 19 miles and take a left on Hwy 77 to Hotsprings. Just after the 45 MPH sign, take a right on Camas Rd. Take your first left on North Rd and the driveway for the course and hotsprings will be after the old coral on your right.
If you haven't played the Knucknees' Basin course at Camas Hotsprings, be prepared for LOT'S of OB, rolling hills with well manicured (fast) fairways and greens to bring the OB into play even more, and few trees - but the few that are there are well used..., and a few shallow water hazards. More info on the recent course improvements can be found at http://www.gardencityflyers.org/site/node/1091
Dogs are OK on the property - as long as you clean up after them and keep them out of the hotsprings and mudbaths.
The Knucknees' Basin course and Camas Hotsprings are DRY. Absolutely no alcohol in the hotsprings or on the course.
Can't wait to get up and check this course out again since I didn't go to the Fall Classic and see the new additions! Hopefully the tee pads will be in by then! This course is rapidly turning into one of the sickest in the state!
Will also probably have two seats available from Missoula, not sure when I'll be heading up but most likely that morning.

Anyone traveling to the Hotsprings next weekend from Billings or Bozeman area's that want one person (from Bozeman) to tag along n help with some gas money? So if anyone is headin up to Camas on friday morning that needs one more let me know, my phone # is 406-599-ZERO52Zero.
Count yourself in with me
Hey Joe, I've got you covered for a ride if you still need one, no problem there! Got one more seat left if anybody else needs a ride. Figure $5 gas/person. See everyone this weekend!

very excited to finally play this one and check out the facility etc....throwin then soakin equals the good life montuckey style -bringit...
cheers peeps cya there
Will have more info soon, but they were supposed to be pouring the cement yesterday!! Didn't sound like they would be able to do all the short and long pads, but they would do what they could.
James began mowing this past weekend, so the course should be in prime shape for the tourney this weekend!!
Come up Friday nite, play dubs, and soak!!!! Leroy will be closing down the hotsprings pool to the public Friday and Saturday nites and re-opening it to us (still with the $5 per person fee) for the remainder of the nite!!! Nothing better than soaking under the stars after a good day of DG!!!!!
I'll be up there Friday setting up by noon. Come up early and lend a hand. Karma points count!!! I could also use some help Sunday morning, too.
If you plan on arriving at the course after dark on Friday, be aware that the main gate will be closed. Please close it again behind you after you enter.
The course has seen a few changes so I thought I would talk about what we will use in the tourney.
New hole 1 will have a tapered fairway (about 310' long uphill) with an island green (about 325' uphill to make the green.
New hole 2 will be as is. NO OB
New tourney hole 3 will be played from near the basket of new hole 3 to the basket of new hole 4. No OB
Hole 4 will be old hole 1 - Island green etc...
The course will play the same though hole 18 which plays up to the pond (old hole 15).
Hope this makes sense...
DoubleC, can you bring #18 for hole 18 this weekend? Wouldn't seem right without it...
