The Lizard Range DG tourney (Fernie tourney) will be held on June 30th in Fernie, BC. Fernie is only about 4 hrs from Missoula, just into BC. This is one of my favorite tourneys (top 3 for sure!!!!!!!!!) and well worth the trip across the border. Really friendly locals, a great scene, and truly goergous scenery. And a World Class Putting Contest following the tourney that I would travel to Fernie for without the tourney!

I forgot to mention in my post above that July 1st is Canada Day, which is the Canadian equivalent to our Independence Day. This is a GREAT weekend to be in Fernie!!!!!!!! Huge fireworks show (bigger than Missoula's last year), several outdoor markets, and LOT's of other stuff going on to celebrate the holiday on Sunday. Fernie is a fun town anytime of the year, but this is one of the best weekends of the year to be there FOR SURE!!!

Pre registration is up on www.ferniediscgolf.com If anyone is planning on attending, please pre register (if possible) by Sun June 24th as this will help organize players packs/lunches in a HUGE way. There is no longer a paypal option in pre reg, tourney fees can now only be paid on tourney day. Thanx, hope to see you guys up here.
Good luck to MT players heading up, I can't say enough about how much I miss this one. Serge runs a great event and it's a really fun course.
