Calling all handtrucks.
Prepare for a fun-filled Saturday evening
putting the baskets in at Pattee!!!!
More info to follow
I went to Pattee and walked the course last night, all looks ok for installing the baskets, pads are in an expected condition. Grass is healthy and tall on holes 1 and 2, and lots of growth in areas that didn't have much in the past. Although on hole 15 there is a tree that came down, (rather one of a few)and is balanced against another tree, looks like it could come down any minute. About 65'tall. There is another tree that came down on hole 18, right in front of the tee box. Some topped trees laying around the course, nothing there that can't be taken care of with a little work. Lets get out in numbers to get the Baskets in on Saturday, I would be more than happy to get the caps off the sleeves a couple of hours before the basket crew show's up in order to speed the process. On another note, Spiritwood had some trees come down this week too, Tailgate (18) two large trees on the right side of fairway came down with root balls above ground, with a few that were topped throughout the course. Hole 11 a rather large tree came down on the tee-box. Mother Nature showing some force this last week.
Count me in! I don't have a handtruck, but I'd be happy to help carry baskets...
6:00 Saturday (June 30) - bodies and handtrucks needed to set up Pattee for the season.
Thanks to some preliminary work (lubrication) by Dave, and many handtrucks and golfers to use them, quick work was made of putting in the baskets. Thanks to everybody who came out. Enjoy
