I haven't seen any mention of it so far so I figured I would get the thread going for the second stop in the Inland Northwest Series (D's insistance didn't hurt).

The Cherry Hill Park Inagural will be Saturday May 9, 2009 at Cherry Hill DGC in Coeur d'Alene, ID, it will be a PDGA C-Tier event co-TD'd by Archie Bond and Jack Wardian. I don't know all of the information yet but here's what I know:

After speaking with Jack a little while ago the tentative plan is to get the DX Roc, R-Pro Dart, and Champion Boss for player's pack discs. They are also going with the allowable amount of CFR discs for a C-Tier and I think they are going with the Champion Gummy Rhyno and Champion Glo Wraiths, not sure on prices yet.

I am told that on-line registration will be through the PDGA website and will be posted as soon as the PDGA gets the tourney info. posted. Here's a link to check to see if it is up on the PDGA website yet:

Directions from the East:

Take west-bound I-90 to Coeur d'Alene, ID, and take exit 14 which will either be labeled as 15th Street or Hazel. The end of the off-ramp is at Cherry Hill Park's tennis courts so take a right off the off-ramp and a quick left into the parking lot before going up the hill. Hole 1 is parallel to the tennis courts and the practice basket is near hole 1's teebox.

From West:

Take east-bound I-90 to Exit 14, which is 15th Street. Take a left off the off-ramp back under the freeway and take your first right onto Hazel Ave and follow directions as above. If you miss Hazel go past the Fire Dept. and take the first right into the park.

I just got off the phone

I just got off the phone with my dad and him and Archie finalized the order for players pack discs and CFR discs. They were able to get the Champion Gummy Rhynos and Champion Glo Wraiths and I believe they will sell for $20 each, I could be wrong there though. Players pack discs will be DX Roc, Champion Boss, Pro Wraith and Pro Destroyer - R-Pro Darts weren't available yet. Sad Should be a fun tourney.

Cherry Hill has finally been

Cherry Hill has finally been listed on the PDGA website. If you are looking to see if online registration becomes available keep checking this link. It is not available as of when I did this post but should be available soon up until about a week before the tourney, so a pretty short window for online reg, if at all.

The NIRDGC is planning a work party at Cherry Hill the week before the tourney. Hopefully we can get some of the teeboxes flattened out, if not, watch out for a couple of pretty steep boxes.

Online registration thru the PDGA is finally up, here's a link:

http://www.pdgasignup.com/Qstore/Qstore.cgi?CMD=011&PROD=1241193644

Here's the list of registered players (all 6 of 'em)

http://www.pdga.com/tournament-results?TournID=9150

Hope to see many of you come over to slay an easy course. This will still be a fun one dispite the course being not overly challenging.

Registering on the day of the tourney WILL be allowed for those of you who are last second deciders.

I found out just a minute ago that the city does not want us to do any teebox leveling yet due to liability issues, so everyone gets to play the slanted boxes on 5, 6, and 10. That will be a project that will need to be proposed to the city and done later. Sorry.

Let's Go

I have room for two that want to make the trip over and back in a day. Leaving Saturday morning sometime... Remember we get an hour back so we can sleep in until at least 5AM!! We can figure out departure time at this weeks bag tag. $5 per person gas.

It's something to do with the PDGA not the TDs. I talked to another person who registered online last week and they are still not up yet. I think they have not sent e-mail updates to Archie or my dad. My dad posts new registrants as soon as he get them. Be patient please, you'll get in one way or the other. How muh was the PDGA fee for online reg? My dad said he will call the PDGA today if he doesn't get the list of players who have done online reg, I talked to him about it last night.

I can't believe nobody else

I can't believe nobody else has hitched a ride with Damien and McCoy yet. $5 for gas and an easy trip over, that's tough to beat.

Hey Bob D. you said that you may be interested in some of the CFR discs, is that still the case? Champ. Gummy Rhynos and Champ. Glo Wraiths $20 each. If you are still interested and are not coming over to play if you can get the $$$ to D before he heads over that would be much appreciated. Let me know.
