good work

Nice work on the rounds, Mr. Nightmare. Are they difficult to figure out, or is it pretty straightforward math? What does AHP and SSA mean concerning Blue Mtn? How does Blue stack up to Bohart, Diamond X, Prieast Pass or Spiritwood? Or can you not easily compare courses? Can local player ratings (averaged over a season) help figure out handicaps for certain rounds (money rounds, say, or something like matched doubles with top handicapper matched with bottom handicapper etc.)?

Kind of a slow Sunday morning ignoring four kids here at the casa.

Easy to figure out, but very complicated math. The PDGA has an MS Excel spreadsheet for download on it's websight that makes it's easy to do.

AHP = Average Hole Par. This is a calculation based on players ratings, what they shot, and the number of holes on the course. Helps determines SSA.
SSA = Scratch Score Average. This is what a 1000 rated player would of shot during the round. I affectionatly call it "The G-Spot" Tongue

Blue Mountain usually gets 52-54 for the Blue Tees, and 47-48 for the White Tees.
Diamond X gets 52-53 for Blues, & 53-55 for Blacks.
Priest Pass gets 52-53 for Blues & 48-49 for whites.
Bohart & Spiritwood need to host a PDGA sanctioned or give me scorecards from their next tourney.

No. Easily can compare SSA of one course to the next. The higher the SSA the harder the course.

Yes, we've tried it before and have recieved comments that it was quite fair.

Is that Sly making a return

Is that Sly making a return from Boise? Is he back for good or was he just visiting?
