Thanks to all

Thanks to all of you who helped out. Especially Brian B who was there for all of the installation days/nights. Odd year for me, I wish I was there to help, between work and being sick for a few weeks I wasn't able to.

Agreed

Yes, the hard work at Pattee is really appreciated and has certainly paid off. Meaning, the course looks great. I love the tee pads. On some holes (specifically 9 and 18) I have had to change my drive, but so what? I like the tee pads and I hope all the casual players out there use them as well to really eliminate a lot of the erosion.

When all is said and done, I am very happy with the present Pattee course. I was upset at first (and will always miss old One, Hamburger Hill and old Eighteen) but have managed to realize that the new course is truly a great one.

Now that the course is closed

Now that the course is closed for the season, there will be a few rehab days/evenings. We will be scarifying the soil around the tee pads for atleast holes 1 - 3, seeding, and mulching them. We will also be doing some trail deliniation from a few of the pins to the next tees along with scarification, seeding, and mulching of these areas, too. Depending on the weather, would really like to get most, if not all, of these projects done in the next couple of weeks before the ground freezes so that the seed is on the ground and has a better oportunity to take and hold next year.

I'll post times and dates as they come up.
