How sweet was Torii Hunters 3 run blast off the Mighty Red Sox's ace last night. I know all of you east coast homers will say, look at the history between them, but I sure slept well after that game. Once again, Go Angels!
Well, if the goddamned refs would pay attention to the game...And if the Sox could start hitting. I mean, the Sox pitching has been what was expected; pretty good. The point was that the offense needed to show up. Now, are the Halos pitching that great? Well, not really. The Sox just can't hit. This is a slump similiar to what they went through during the regular season a couple of times, and it is horrible timing.
On the plus side, we have gotten some great shots of the falls in center field each time they replay Hunter's homer. You know who I say hello to up there!
Thanks for that Drew. Funny how it's not the pitching, but poor batting. Maybe good pitching is inhibiting those great hitters. 6 hits total in 2 games, yikes.
