Registration opens for next year's memorial this Sunday, Nov 1. I've heard a few people talking about going - so just a reminder to register as soon as possible as it will fill up fast!!

I am registered. Hefty entry though. Players packs better get better. More free drink coupons at Spinners on the Green would be fine.

Yeah entry fees are lookin'

Yeah entry fees are lookin' pretty steep, but for major-type tourneys like the memorial that's the way it goes I suppose.

Go get'em CD!

Go get'em CD! Take ole SW with ya and shred those courses. Ya a buck 75 is real steep, but four days? How sick is that Crazy nothin but a weeks worth of a good time especially in the dead of winter. Would love to try it again sometime being in the masters division and all Big smile Although i would have to pass the proficiency test. Wonder if current officials have to take the test as well? hmm.

Great experience

Playing in this event is something i would recommend to anyone who hasn't been and wants to represent ole MT in one of the big shows of DG. It is expensive but if you can hitch up with others that can cut costs. Tolito has experience as well as myself. The years i went, 99-03, Hyzerbomber Doug A and Carter A were there, at least the four of us for the first three and hyz and myself for the fourth and Craig M and myself for my fifth and of course the affordability only came cause of those fine individuals Smile One piece of advice though, if one goes to the show, either bring a load of extra (backup friz) or plan to spend a franklin on replacements and or new 2 u style. Those courses can and will eat your friz. That in itself for me is a test of will. Wouldn't worry to much about the putting, just need to keep the shots out of the drink. Everything seems to be understable off the tee even without a headwind=danger with alot of drink to the right. Painful. Can't wait to hear the stories after it is all over. Man what a crazy ride.

Eatin Friz?

I can attest to that. I only lost 5 discs when I played, but some guy on my card, lost 12. It was said when I was there in 06, that when they drained and cleaned the fountain during that previous winter, over 27,000 discs were pulled out. I heard that possibly you doublecyc, tasted pond water in order to get a hold of some of those discs. Pretty nasty....

Imagine how much superdy-duperdy, dopepidy dope-dope, retardedly fresh-jive discs would be in there!! ah man, 9x's 8x's, CE's, original san marino aviars(chains), ETC! ETC!(& im sure there some sweet discraft too, just don't know what's sweet).. gets me excited just thinking about it Laughing out loud Laughing out loud heck, i'd be snorkeling entire days if there was only 2,700 discs in there!!

do they allow diving or retrieval of discs??

I think I heard about that fishing expedition, too. Sounded like you guys made out pretty good for discs, though. Wasn't that the year that Hyzerbomber won Adv, making him the only MT'er to win an A-tier or better?
