I got the call from Steve. The Salmon Ice Bowl is on for January 9, 2010. More information to follow. Definitely one of the best tournaments of the year. Huge bonfire all day long, food, fun, all on the banks of the Salmon River. Just a mere 140 miles south of Missoula. Last year we traveled with around 15 guys. Again there will be the crew from Boise and the ever growing Salmon Disc Golf Club. Hope to see everybody there.
What a great way to start the year!! Steve and crew always put on a good time and serve up the best chili and salsa anywhere!! Count me in!
If anyone gets anymore info on this I'd like to know more specifics. I'll post info on the North Idaho website too. If there is a flyer made up for it I'll post a copy at our local courses if I can get a copy of it. Same for Helena.
Looking forward to the trip and the play and to meet up with the Montana crew once again!

Anyone know how many AMs turn out for this event?
Last year there were quite a few Ams. Most, not all of the Salmon guys are Ams. If they aren't an AM, they're old (Masters), JK Salmon open players. There is also a pretty big group of Rec players. A lot of people just out for a fun day. This is the 3rd annual and each year is growing.
