Firm dates will be posted next week

Sorry for the delay, but pretty much have the dates for our MT events figured out and will post them early next week. Waiting to hear back from the INWS people to make sure there are no conflicts in our immediate area before I publish our dates, but will post the MT schedule no later than early next week.

Also, been meaning to start a thread for feedback and input for the Series. I hope to have my home computer back up and running by tomorrow in which case I'll start that thread then.

& while its fun to dream about making a big event like the BSF- if I can pass the written NT test that is- the in state stuff would be priority...
cheers

dates for 2010

Here are the dates I have for 2010 in MT and beyond so far.

March 13 - 20th Annual Spiritwood Skins - Victor

April 3 - 4 - Cool Shoes Invitational (CSI SeaTac) - Seattle

April 17 - Spring Fling - Billings

May 1 - Swards Ranch Classic - Bozeman

May 15 - 16 - Zoo Town Open - Missoula/24th Annual Spiritwood Open - Victor

June 5 - 6 - Lilac City Open - Spokane

June 12 - 13 - 24th Annual Spiritwood Open/Zoo Town Open

June 19 - Timberbeast Challenge - Troy

June 26 - Lizard Range DG Tourney - Fernie, BC

July 10 - Continental Classic - near Helena

August 7 - The Benefit - Missoula

August 21 - Bohart Open - Bozeman

August 28 - 29 - *Proposed* Northern Rockies Team Challenge - site to be determined

September 11 - 12 - MT States - Missoula

Our first choice for the ZTO is May 15 - 16, but it may be moved back to the June date due to the uncertainty of Blue Mtn next spring. We should have a firm date sometime in January for that and the Spiritwood Open, and Thanks to Nick down at Spiritwood for working with us on the dates!!

Still working on the State Doubles date and venue. There's a possibility it could be held at a venue not listed above.

Look for a couple more smaller events to be held around the state in Feb/March. More info on them soon.

I would like to see the ZTO after the LCO..I think it would draw more people to the tourney.

On behalf of the entire club, ONCE AGAIN, thanks sooooo much for putting the time and for the excellent work you do for the Flyers and Montana/NW disc golf in general. It's very apparent we would not be where we are today without you - and I solute you.

(thanks Minnesota! Laughing out loud )

team challenge and or doubles

Have a spot. 50+ private acres just north of Butte. Central location for all. Real cool people, million $$ pad Shock camping, views and i have the go ahead if that is cool. They would probably also sponsor added $$. Will need to discuss with the grand poo-bah double B.

I would prefer to see Zoo

I would prefer to see Zoo Town in May so dates could be spread out better. If I remember correctly from last year LCO, ZTO, Flippen Z Disc were all on back to back to back weekends with Timberbeast two weeks later. That's a lot of traveling disc golf on consecutive weekends. With the big INWS events like ZTO, LCO, and what I heard of the Flippen Z Disc I think it's best if there can be two weeks between events. Just my 2 cents, plus then that would put ZTO on my b-day and I would have a better chance of playing all three whereas last year I only got to play 1 of the three since they were all so piled up.

I assume it all depends on whether Blue Mountain will be open in may. Sad
