yah, aren't you guys playing in the ODD (Old Dude Division) anyway?? where there is more Bengay and Advil in your bag than discs!
heh, but seriously, easy guys...
sorry, got off on a tangent. didn't mean to ruffle anybody's feathers. i need a tupee and some depends in my players pack. and some tic tacs apparently.
Both styles of format for the dubs is the bomb idea. Pyop for the open/adv divs and maybe a random op for those open/adv players who don't have a partner? Random only for the Ams, Int divs? Anyway, make it grande, make it el largo. Two fields two courses Twice the fun! Prizes, Money, Good Times, Good Views and best of all good friends. HK, i might need a partner for these dubs. Promise to not breathe on you.
Spiritwood this weekend everybody!
Willy this season?
No worries, already have a large order of Depends/Advil/Bengay combo packs on the way... hang in there guys, it's on the way!
So I'm finally gonna become a pdga member. Bout time, even though I will probably only compete in 2 maybe 3 sanctioned events, Spring Fling being first. My question is this. If we host state dubs up here, does it need to be pdga sanctioned? And if I register and pay for an amateur membership, could I play for cash at state dubs?
Figured it out, I think. State dubs would not be sanctioned, and I could play open for cash. Right?
No need to sanction a doubles event, players wont recieve rated rounds and the money would be better spent on the tourney. sounds like big sky is a sweet venue for doubles. Hopefully this will be BYOP as it is supposed to be The STATE DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIP. If not my vote is to send this thing back to Helena as no one but them ( Billings included ) has yet to pull this thing off the way it was intended. See you at SPRING FLING!!!

I'd vote for unsanctioned as well, for sure.
You can always play pro even while you have amateur status with the PDGA. The only caveat is that if you win cash in a PDGA tournament in a pro division, if you accept it, you forfeit your am status. Although I also believe if your rating is low enough you can still play am in most am tournaments.
I honestly go with Pandabomb about sending it back to Helena. No offense to JDM or Big Sky in any way, but after what happened in Billings last year and the Bozeman club not hosting it this year I feel that it should be brought back to where it all started.

Awe come on gentlemen, do some growing up, please....
