i'll go first

1. Will you keep the same putter for next year, or are you thinking of making a change? What is your current\favorite putter?

I always think I'm going to try and find a new putter, but I always end up sticking with the star aviar and i think i'll just keep going with that. I wanted to try out the P2, which is the same mold but different plastic, but it was too soft when i tried it out. i wouldn't mind a little more stiff putter in the same mold, but nothing out there has topped the star aviar for me yet.

2. Same, but for Midranges?

I plan on pretty much ditching my KC Pro rocs in favor of only throwing classic rocs. They are a little bit different discs, but I think it was a little bag overlap and I rarely ended up throwing my KC Pros anyway, so when I did I was a little cold with them. Thinking about throwing the Dart for longer mid shots now that the star dart came out.

3. Drivers?
Going to stick with what I've got here, star teebirds and star XCals for the most part with some sidewinders, firebrids and destroyers thrown in there. I'll be interested to try out the Katana, but the destroyer and the xcal are pretty darn good so it'll have to impress me a lot.

4. Golf bag, if you use one?
Awww yeah Mystery Ranch bags, nuff said. http://www.mysteryrants.com/category/disc-golf/

5. Do you plan on learning and using any new shots, or using more of a shot you already knew?
Might try and throw a little more forehand and I will hopefully continue the progress on throwing rollers when they're the right shot. Fewer thumbers, my shoulder hurts!

6. What's one strength and one weakness of your game that you'd like to improve?
Hyzers with teebirds and xcals is probably my strength so try and keep getting better with that, and I really want to become a better putter. I feel like I haven't improved all that much as a putter in a while and I want a big jump!

7. If you're a tournament player, what do you think your first tournament will be? Plan on hitting any ice bowls?
I'll try and make the Helena Ice Bowl, although it's a trek from Billings Smile Besides that, probably Gentlemen's Club in Vegas and/or the Memorial. Dunno.

8. Are you planning on running or helping run any tournaments, work days, projects on the course or around town, or anything else like that for the next year?
Aww yeah, ZOO TOWN baby we are going to make it sweeter than ever for sure, my main man Brian B is on the controls too so get ready for a good one! I'm also TDing the Spring Fling here in Billings i think. And hopefully getting us 501c3 certified!

9. At 10-6, or even perhaps 11-5, the Denver Broncos are a lock to make the playoffs. Given this, they are certain to become Super Bowl champions. What do you think will be the main reason that the Broncos will hoist the Lombardi trophy this year?

Gotta say the veteran leadership on Defense. From a team that was absolutely horrid on the defensive side of the ball the last few years, the old men of Brian Dawkins, Andre Goodman, Champ Bailey, and Renaldo Hill have really locked down the secondary, enabling pass rushers like Elvis Dumervil to shine.

10. Vikings Suck
I know! No playoff wins after such a promising start to the season, it's tough to see.

Q1. Will you keep the same putter for next year, or are you thinking of making a change? What is your current\favorite putter?
--A: stickin' with the best, the Aviar... specifically black DX San Marino's 173-5g (always need more.. got some?? any San Marino's wanted)

Q2. Same, but for Midranges?
--A: pretty much the same, although I added a Champ Gator to my bag late last year & plan using that more. DX/Champ/Star ROCs, Star Classic ROC, Champ/DX Cobra, Champ Gator.

Q3. Drivers?
--A: always check out the new jive, but possibly work a Lat64 Blitz into the bag.. other than that, my bag feels solid and I can't keep up with the new discs lately... so I don't anticipate anything new really. Star Wraiths, Star Destroyer, Champ/Star Max

Q4. Golf bag, if you use one?
--A: hoping so... just trying to justify three bills on a DG bag- Mystery Ranch from Innova Comp. Bag

Q5. Do you plan on learning and using any new shots, or using more of a shot you already knew?
Backhand Puzzled

Q6. What's one strength and one weakness of your game that you'd like to improve?
Backhand Puzzled

Q7. If you're a tournament player, what do you think your first tournament will be? Plan on hitting any ice bowls?
Salmon baby! Tongue

Q8. Are you planning on running or helping run any tournaments, work days, projects on the course or around town, or anything else like that for the next year?
Absolutely.

Q9. At 10-6, or even perhaps 11-5, the Denver Broncos are a lock to make the playoffs. Given this, they are certain to become Super Bowl champions. What do you think will be the main reason that the Broncos will hoist the Lombardi trophy this year?
Donkey's are dirty and smelly.... I don't like Donkeys. Plus, thats what they make dog food outa.. BAM! Smile

Q10. Vikings Suck
Agreed ... but my team sucks even more this year Puzzled .. so................. GO GRIZ Laughing out loud

a new putter, for sure. Maybe

a new putter, for sure. Maybe this big bead aviar I've been using, maybe a white and black GCF aviar, maybe a snow bowl warlock, maybe a brand new omega ss, maybe a sweet soft magnet

I'll always try a new mid-range disc. I like rocs and cobras, but i'm looking at a sweet stratus right now that I'm dying to get in the bag. And I found some powerful-looking Millenium mid-range discs I'm wanting to go huck.

Ditto for drivers. If it is new I will throw it. I have high hopes for the Predator this year, maybe throw the Star XCaliber a little more

I like my Revolution...although I would buy a raffle ticket for a Golf Mahal...

Rollers would be great to add, but the truth is that this year I need to work on hitting windows. Backhand, forehand, overhand, underhand, whatever...I just need to be able to hit windows with accuracy.

My strength is my massive guns. My weakness may be a lack of humility.

I hope to play in more than one tourny this year. I will play World's 2012.

Well, we need a place to play this March, April and May, so I've been hard at work remembering a wilderness course at the east end of Kelly Island

I don't know, can they get by the Colts, the Chargers or the Bangels? Nevermind the powerhouse NFC team ('Aints, Vikes, Eagles and Green Bay all look great) in the last game. So, I don't know. Is their first playoff game winnable? Yes, but I don't see anything else. Not with Orton at QB.

Vikes are gonna have to win in New Orleans. They can't even handle a boat of strippers in the Great Lakes, how are they going to handle the Big Easy?

Prudential Missoula, Buy, Sell, Rent...What do YOU need?

new putter

I am working on using a new putter this year in fact I now have enough max weight black soft magnets to use a new one for every tournament. As far as my golf game goes I don't have time to try and improve. I am putting all of my energy into helping the Vikes go all the way this year.

GO VIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SURVEY 1. Star Aviar, haven't

SURVEY
1. Star Aviar, haven't really tried many other putters but aviar's just feel good in the hand. Also use a R-Pro Aviar from time to time.

2. KC Pro Roc(started using it this year love it!), Star Coyote, really thinking about getting a Gator for next year

3. Teebird, TeeRex, Firebird, QJLS, not really looking to add any new ones, just going to work with these discs to become more consistent.

4. Revolution Dual Pack

5. Going to try and develop a good overhand shot(this is my weakest shot in the arsenal) and work on the backhand to get more distance!!!

6.Strength- approach shots
Weakness- Putting(just got a basket recently to help with this), playing in the wind!

7. First tourney will be Billings Spring Fling(love Diamond X)
Spiritwood Ice Bowl

8. I definitely want to get more involved with the Flyers and help with the growth of the best sport ever invented!

9. I really don't think its the Broncos year(need more of a running game) but if they get teams they match up against well they could make it to the Superbowl only too.........

10. Lose to the Vikings!!!!!!!!!!!!

ROCs rule, period- I stoked you've picked one up Smile Gator.. get one! I tried for a while to keep this disc "at bay" ..(mainly 'cause my bag is full! Smile ) but with so much rave.. had to check it out. Excellent overstable midrange- reliable when you want a guaranteed hyzer out or put some stink on it w/o the fear of flipping over too much (or at all.. in my case Smile ) Your distance drivers leek solid, but try out a Wraith if you haven't .. Wraiths also rock! -Putting.. I have 2 baskets, but haven't used either since acquiring the second.. argh... anyone want to pratice? I struggle getting quality practice done alone(I also strive for the "competition" feeling). Overhand shot.. well I thought mine was pretty bad ass until I saw Koz & Christian's, but I still feel it's pretty strong/accurate, so I can help with that if interested.

My main post objective: "more involved with the Flyers" - Hells yah! Start by joining!! Laughing out loud :D I really hope your schedule allows you to play some more bagtag rounds next year... it's always a pleasure to play with you.

SURVEY
1. Will you keep the same putter for next year, or are you thinking of making a change? What is your current\favorite putter?

I've putted with Wizards for a few years, and there is no reason to change. I do need to work on my putting, however.

2. Same, but for Midranges?

4 DX Rocs in different stages of wear and a Champ Gator do everything I need.

3. Drivers?

Currently working with Champ/Pro Destroyers, Z/ESP Predators, Star Valkyries, SOLFs, and DX Eagle-Xs. Thinking of switching either the SOLFs to S PDs or the Eagle-Xs to DX/Champ Teebirds. Everything else is pretty solid.

4. Golf bag, if you use one?

Until it falls apart, no need.

5. Do you plan on learning and using any new shots, or using more of a shot you already knew?

I need to learn to throw rollers and sky rollers. There just aren't many holes around here where its the best shot. I've been trying to learn to throw every hole backhand, and will continue to do so until I feel like it is a solid shot on every hole.

6. What's one strength and one weakness of your game that you'd like to improve?

I plan on improving my approaches from 120' to 250' (weakness), and I'm not sure I have anything that I would truly call a strength at this point.

7. If you're a tournament player, what do you think your first tournament will be? Plan on hitting any ice bowls?

I'll be doing the Spokane Chilly Bowl, and maybe the one out at Corbin Park.

8. Are you planning on running or helping run any tournaments, work days, projects on the course or around town, or anything else like that for the next year?

I'm currently running and helping run a twice-weekly Pro/Am doubles event, and plan to keep doing it until interest dies off or until its not fun.

9. At 10-6, or even perhaps 11-5, the Denver Broncos are a lock to make the playoffs. Given this, they are certain to become Super Bowl champions. What do you think will be the main reason that the Broncos will hoist the Lombardi trophy this year?

1.I use wizards also inside

1.I use wizards also inside the circle anyway, bangers for longer for now, I have aviars&challengers still in the practice stack & Ive putted w/both over the yrs- sometimes I just like the "feel" of a certain disc...

2.gotta couple buzzzes for straight and slight hyzer ups, a meteor and a wasp for a flip or a stronger hyzer, gotta pig in there now but also have used a drone& gator for shorter hyzers, also a comet for longer straight throws...

3.r pro boss, pro destroyer, sidewinder, xcal about covers everything for me for now...

4.revo- bottom's gettin worn through, prob make it the yr...

5.maybe longer sidearms instead of flippin a disc to get that turn, backhand overdominant puts undo limits on options...

6.accurate longer drives and grooving my putts, my upshots have saved me, need to keep em easier...

7.maybe helena icebowl unless it dumps at bridger, springfling, mtseries...

8.hope to get a league goin here in boz, maybe a few smaller local events as well and of course whatever I can do to help our bigger events...

9.no fantasy players on the donkies, don't really care

10.no fantasy players on the vikes either though I grew up in the mpls 'burbs- hope they go but I want my $ back in fantasy 1st...

1. Keeping the STAR Aviar for

1. Keeping the STAR Aviar for putting but I always get a new one at the beginning of each year. I have my new one waiting. I do use a DX Aviar on occasion but the STAR is just too money.

2. I use DX Rancho Roc, STAR Rancho Roc, and Champ. Gator. I am considering adding one of the STAR San Marino Rocs but don't know if I need one yet.

3. I am pretty content with my driver selection but may add either a Pro Destroyer or Pro Boss and see if either of those can help add a touch of D. The top 2 drivers that may work themselves out of my bag are my 169 STAR TeeRex and 171 Pro Starfire. I may bring back a max weight STAR Destroyer and/or max weight STAR TeeRex too, not sure though.

4. Revolution Carolina bag is good enough for me.

5. I really want to be able to rely on my lefty back hand. That's coming around nicely but I also want to be more comfortable with my righty sidearm.

6. I have to agree with Lyle here. I need to improve my finess shots - anything that reguires any kind of touch. I also think my putting can be a bit embarassing at times so I need to work on that a lot. My drives are coming along nicely but who wouldn't like more distance.

7. I may play the Spokane Chilly Bowl but I am not sure. I have no idea what my first sanctioned tourney will be - not likely that I'll be able to pull off a trip to the Memorial.

8. I am planning on running an Ice Bowl at Corbin Park if the city will allow it. Doubtful that I will try to run a sanctioned tourney this year. I plan on helping the North Idaho Recreators Disc Golf Club grow and will help with any work parties that I can - hopefully we'll get better turnouts this year. I will probably run for a board position again for the NIRDGC, will consider nenewing my SDGA membership, and would like to get involved with the rumored Spokane Valley Disc Golf Club.

9/10. I am not a Bronco fan! I would like to see any combination of Indy/S.D. and New Orleans/ Vikings (yes Vikings) in the Super Bowl.

I forgot to add that I may

I forgot to add that I may add another STAR TeeBird because TeeBirds are money. I think I will try to add a crispy one each year and I may add a Champ. TeeBird to see if the plastic makes a difference for me, sometimes the STAR TeeBirds turnover a little more than I like. Other than that I am trying to add to my collection of STAR Wraiths. I have an old school pre KC 12x model that I like for turnovers and I feel like the 12x Wraiths have a little more stability so I prefer them sometimes. I am trying to break in a new Champion Sidewinder but may go to a STAR if the Champ. doesn't reak in like I want it to. I may just have to go to a big parking lot and throw it to break it in quicker.
