Received Innova's Christmas disc a few days ago... Way cooler than last years, IMO - Champion Coyote with unique Christmas stamp - seems to be of two stamp types, Silver and Holographic speckled within.. pretty neat - Xmas postcard is a lot nicer too - Glossy with a nice photo on front & thank you for '09 on reverse side.

Coyote, what do you mean ick,

Coyote, what do you mean ick, have you tried one, I was given one this last summer and thought the same thing, was I dead wrong! I now carry 3, 2 dx, 1 champ. (all Max weight) Trustworthy midrange, a solid disc.

Gotta agree w/ dbeast, I

Gotta agree w/ dbeast, I don't throw them personally but they are dave dunipace's (innova #1 disc designer) favorite midrange, so that's some pretty darn high praise!

I take Dave D's favorite

I take Dave D's favorite discs with a grain of salt, because he doesn't like the Roc.

Innova, never "ick"

I don't mean "ick" like its a Double Doink Diablo DT -more like "ick.. I asked santa for a champ roc"! Laughing out loud

dbeast- when you say max weight, do you mean 165g? or max weight for the mold, 180g?

Def, 180. I know I saved at

Def, 180. I know I saved at least 4 strokes this last Sunday at Spiritwood with the coyote, -7 course par. -1 (65) counting all 22 holes as a 3. Thought that was too heavy, as most of you know I have always been a 150 class player or at least below 165, but with the Coyote, I have found that a midrange at least for me is more controllable in the heavier weights. Since then CD has given me a 175 Star-Sidewinder that has earned a place in my bag. So I guess since my introduction to the heavier weights, I have found that my distance is about the same with some of the different molds in heavier weights. (Although with my strange grip I find that a beaded or thick rim is nearly impossible to throw.) There might still be some hope for a 50 year old arm. Glasses

Coyote? Orange?

I've been getting Xmas discs from Innova for quite a few years, and, other that this year, they seemed to fit the Xmas theme. Y'know, red, green, white with red stamp, etc. Last year the color was Pumpkin. This year, Orange??? I suppose Satsuma Mandarins are somewhat attached to the Holidays.
I suspect they had zillions of orange coyotes kicking around and decided it's the best Xmas disc ever, by default.
Still, it's nice to be remembered.
