It's the time of year for my annual reminder to GET YOUR PASSPORT!!!!!!!! Alberta and BC have some great golf and a developing scene that is not that far away - Lethbridge is only 3 hrs from Helena.

Probably not feasible to make enough events to qualify for their Series, but sure worthwhile to make it up there for one or two of the closer events. Crossing the border is very easy and hassle free as long as you have a passport and is definitly worth the hassle to play with the people up there and to experience a little of the culture, too. Always fun to play with different people, especially when they're from a different country.

If by "experiencing a little

If by "experiencing a little of the culture" you mean "eating poutine at any fast food place or restaurant," then I'm all for it.

We're at our best when it's from our hips

maybe

They put "loonies on yer tab" and pass out "jugs" of beer and have "brown toast" and you can listen to a silly game called hockey while using the pisser. I love Canada. "McCoy, ya drrrropped some thin" was once spoken by one of their up and comers. Sounded like it was from a scene in Braveheart and had me laughing for days. I suppose it is a different country. Again I love Canada.
