Last summer (fall?) there was a 9 hole post course installed on the campus of Salish Kootenai college in Pablo, MT - just south of Polson. I haven't had a chance to play it, yet, but from hearing sidehuk and Lucas talk about it, it sounds like its worth the drive. Maybe one of them can post more details.
Finally got to play this course last weekend and was very pleasantly suprised at how good it was!! Lots of different shots and some elevation on several holes. Fun course. Only got to play the original 9, didn't get to play any of the other layouts, but some of the shots really looked fun.
Course would be unplayable right now due to long (and very thick) grass, but one of the local players mowed a few strips down each fairway. Could've used a few more strips, but definitly made it a lot easier to walk and find discs.

To get there take your first right at the first light coming into Pablo (about 2-3 minutes north of Ronan) then take your first right towards the college theatre, turn left before entering the parking lot and follow the road that goes behind the theatre building and take a left into a field where they have been parking excavators and trucks, go straight ahead towards the fence and park anywhere to the right of the dirt road. the first hole is just on the other side of the fence to the left. All the tee signs and post targets are color matched so there is no confusion. This course reminds me of Blue Mountain in a way smaller area which amounts to more throwing and less walking. It has about every shot in the book, including a sweet down hill bomb. The only thing it lacks is a good roller hole due to the dead growth and terrain. We usually play a round of the regular 9 then a round of "iron man" (tee of 1 to post of 2, etc.) making it really challenging. Lucas is talking about maybe getting baskets on the course and mowing some fairways this summer since he lives right there. For any more info call (406)880-4145
