Registered, but got kicked off like 8 times during the process. Site is crashing like crazy. Apparently 600 people are on the email notification list, which is obviously way larger than the tournament. Everyone down at Memorial is talking about the BSF, no one has ever seen anything like it. It WILL NOT be possible to register for the Am side without being ready beforehand and repeatedly reloading the page. Totally insane.
Im gonna bank on my "40 hours a week clicking practice" and fast connection ... then it's all up to Bresnen, don't fail me now!
finally got thru, appears no more "product"
tried the checkout several times, oh well easier not to go
mt points matter more anyway
I'm on the waiting list as well, had emergency work, 15 minutes after 7 was too late. Feel even more sorry for Oregon players that couldn't get in.
Absolutely insane! I spent a half hour clicking refresh
, cursing
, waiting for the page to load
, cursing some more
, then finally I got in at spot #99
. Absolutely stoked for this event! Whoever is playing ams have credit card in hand and be ready because the spots go quick!
Ok Billy... this look crazy, we need a plan and 3 computers if your registering for Wii too... How's your connection? WiFi or hard-wire? Might need to get a hold of the Nuge and break into a computer lab.. actually that is exactly what we need to do.. call me
I wish they moved the National Tour events to a system where people had a two week sign up period, and the highest rated players were first on the waiting list. It sucks, only NT I can make so I have really no chance of going to US Open again. I'd probably not make the cut based on ratings but it seems like if this many poeple sign up for the highlest level tournament the best players should be the ones getting in. I really aimed and set a goal to try and make US Open this year and it all depended on this tournament. Kind of makes me want to toss my discs aside and just stick to bike riding.
Yeah I feel like there could be a much better way to handle the registration and it seems like this was going to be a pretty obvious outcome from all I had heard leading up to it. Hopefully at least it will lead to a much needed retooling of the system in the near future.

So who made it in for the pros? Anyone? Bueller?

Get on those computers Pro entrants!
Pretty funny scene down here in Arizona...four guys, two pitchers, and three laptops clicking "refresh" at a sports bar...
