News to report from the Gentlemen's Club Challenge in Las Vegas! Results are up from round one.

http://www.pdga.com/tournament-results?TournID=9723&year=2009

Our very own Seth White, fresh from the permafrost, SLAYED it! A 1021-rated first round 55 featuring aggressive lines that worked out, multiple 35 footers and a 55 footer (according to the man himself) has earned Mr. White the right to play with Worlds runner-up Josh Anthon next round on the fourth card. Thank god that Mystery Ranch bag is waterproof, 'cause...

The rest of the Montana crowd, and those with Montana connections, are in a very close pack as they all shot the IDENTICAL score of 65, which likely means that they didn't see everything go their way today but are still battling: Pek, Steve S. and Bill Tom Scott are all playing together on one card, and Levi B. and Bryce Hein are on the card immediately before them. All five of those MT folks with the same score, crazy!

Other notables: Jeremy "Yoduh" Thornton hangin' tough with a 60; Nate Sexton and Dion Arlyn in with 57s, Kirk McAllister tying Seth with the 55, and Mystery Ranch team members Barsby (55) and Orum (51) in contention to catch leader Bobby Musick (49) and Barry Schultz (50) in 2nd. On the women's side, Liz Lopez with a four-stroke lead over Val after a 1000-rated 57, and the NW's own Monica Milstead holding down 3rd place over five others!

Looks like Thornton just barely missed cash, but at least his girl got paid.

Congrats to Seth on some good golf.

We're at our best when it's from our hips
