2010 Montana Point Series Guidelines
The points system for the 2010 MT Series will be as the same as last year's.
Every player who finishes will receive 10 pts
That player will receive 1 pt for each person that that player ties or beats
That player will receive 1 pt for each person that that player beat who finished in the top 1/3 of the field
Each player will receive 1 pt for each tourney attended.
Divisional Winners will be determined by their OVERALL Points following the State Championships. The Divisional winners will get their names on the Cup Of Champions - the perenial MT Series Trophy, receive their 2011 PDGA membership paid for by the Series, and the winner of Open Men will receive the MT rep spot for the 2011 USDGC. $3 from each player's entry fee for each event will go towards the overall payout.
Points will only be kept for one division of Women. For tournaments that have more than one division of Women, we will (for the purpose of pts ONLY) consider all the Women to be playing in the same division and award pts accordingly.
Your OVERALL Points will be determined by adding your BEST 3 points finishes, your Finals (State Championships) points finish, and your attendence points.
The Series itself WILL NOT be PDGA sanctioned, but each individual tournament will have the option to be sanctioned.
