May 1 and May 2nd there will be two seperate C tiers at Farragut State Park in Athol Idaho. The unveiling of the new par 60 Double Black Diamond course will be a little window into the new exciting changes to come out at Farragut. They have plans to have a total of 5 courses in the ground within the next 3 years. Christopher Re called it the 2nd best course in the northwest next to Milo.. Everyone has a chance to play it once if you play in both events and pros will play it both days. The course requires shot making, creativity, placement and control. There are multiple routes and lots of risk vs. reward. It will work your whole entire game! The course is very clean for a new course and a ton of work has been put in. There is an event there in September but I couldn't wait so here goes..
**$45 a day for pros
**$35 a day for advanced
**$30 a day for ams
**subtract $10 if you are a PDGA member
$5 day of registration
Send your entry's to:
Jeremy Thornton
2509 E. Diamond
Spokane WA 99217
Checks payable to Jeremy Thornton and PDGA registration will be up soon.
Each division will play each course at least once and camping will be available, more details on this Thursday. This event will be first come first serve and everyone is invited!
wow that sounds awesome, farragut is one of my favorite places to play already. really wish i could make this one. definitely september!
You should hit it up CD. It might be easier to win than Swards.....
OH LAME! I didn't see Swards on the PDGA list and I counted 5 weeks with no tourneys between Windy river and Blue Mountain.. I am going out to Farragut tomorrow and if the course can be ready in time I will bump the event up a weekend if and only if I hear some positive feedback from Montana. I want my disc golf family to show up! I have preliminary approval to have our camping on the nice grass and bathroom area right by old hole one of the wreckreator which is for those of you who don't know is SUPER NICE! I have $200 in added right now and would like to get at least $500.
sounds pretty tasty... I hope to make it!!
can you explain that a little better, I'm confused about "two seperate C tiers" .. how does that work?
Been deep in training, moving up to Pros, which one of you are going to take 2nd and which one 3rd? Word?
See subject.
One "C" tier on Saturday. One on Sunday. There could easily be 2 separate winners from each day. If you tank on Saturday you have a clean slate on Sunday.
Camping will be near the start of old hole one of the wreckreator. There is a ton of nice grass and a large covered gazebo with electricity and no other campsites near us.. maybe 3/4 of a mile so it can be loud and fun!
Sounds fun! Would really like to check out the new course, but can't pass up the Swards Ranch tourney and Norris Hotsprings before and after the event.

same day as one of the montana series events (c-tier at Swards Ranch near bozeman)...i'd LOVE to check out the new farragut though, maybe next time!
