Curious what people from around the State think.
This year, on Aug 21 as it's booked with Bohart now, it's a one day, while some key peeps here in Bozeman are either strongly for two days, or are indifferent.
One caveat will be, if desired to go to two days, then we need to promptly book the prior weekend - 14th/15th Aug.
This forum is just to get a QUICK litmus test today and the next, from you travelers for this event.
PS.. I couldn't find how to create a poll.. so this is it.

Although, I know there is a chance of 1/2 of you being happy and 1/2 being unhappy.. I still thank you in advance for your input. (We really want to make it the best experience for YOU! Which is why I am asking.)
, It seems to me that the facilities make this one of the best if not the best place in the state to eventually have a long standing A tier event. .
Facilities? And which ones are those?
The bathrooms? you can show me where they are next time. Running drinking water? you can show me where that is next time. Someone making a fortune off of us and DG? you can show me how that isn't happening next time. A tier? Is that a joke? Someone decides to throw a few dollars at the course and all of the sudden it is the greatest thing since sliced bread? How much will in cost to have 2 days? $1600? and extra $5 from each player per day? Last time wasn't it an extra $250 to stay inside the property? Could get steak and lobster, a hooker and a smoking room at the hilton for that. Come back to reality please come back.
for the record, chris the owner is pretty fired up to get another 9 in & so create 2 18s, the baskets are already here for it I guess...
Yup Joe hit the nail on the head,
The course promises to sport two completely seperate 18 hole courses this year.
+the original 18
+the 2009 new 9 .. including new 9 Mach III's
+and the newest, another 9 this year, 2010.

I vote for a 1 day, mainly because Bozeman already has 2 events being part of the MT point series. No specific areas should have "home course" advantage more than any other area (exl. States obviously, but that rotates) - at least thats what I gathered about the whole deal. Not real sure how 2 Bozeman events got to be a part of the MT series, but there should've only been one of those events included, IMO. .. I assume it was done because of it's central location and the fact that Swards isn't really permanent (or maybe it is..??)
Swards isn't really permanent (or maybe it is..??)
Actually, RE Sward's each year, we will be able to hold it there ad infinitum. If we lose the opportunity, it would only be because something got out of control with respect to other new players doing stuff contrary to the waiver.. which I am sure won't happen with the respectful players we have had there each of the last two years.
But Bobd, what does 1 day vs 2 days event at Bohart have to do with your point in question about two events in Bozeman?
i vote for 1 day. If it is a two day, it will be yet another bozeman tournament I'll miss. Two day-ers start to get pricey for playing disc.. for me anyway.
as for the 2 boz events, well.. its not related and I'm not going to elaborate.. I hope Spiritwood takes one of Bozeman's two spots.
I hope Spiritwood takes one of Bozeman's two spots.
Spiritwood is in the points series this year. Yahoo! Go NM
I would be all for 2 days as long as it's not 2 rediculously long 27 hole rounds, just not a fan

Im for a 2 day event. Since it is central and there is easy gorgeous camping close by I see no reason not to make it a 2 day event. I have been coming around on the whole bohart issue, It seems to me that the facilities make this one of the best if not the best place in the state to eventually have a long standing A tier event. More money and effort seems to be going back into the course.
I say make it a 2 day B tier.
