How do you get a doubles event PDGA sanctioned? What is an XC tier? If you're gonna sanction yours, then state doubles down here in Big Sky should be sanctioned too. Please explain....
Created to accommodate alternative or experimental formats such as doubles, team events, non-basket courses, single division events, winner-take-all, skins, match play, and Super Class
The only problem I have found is that Reguardless of the format used, results must be easily convertible to PDGA divisions for player point calculation and data entry. For this reason divisional doubles {pro, advanced, ets} and mixed doubles cannot be combined within the same event and will require seperate sanctioning agreements. So we would couldn't do mixed division doubles and for this reason I dont think that we wil be sanctioning this event!
appreciate you explaining that for me.
Well we've been hard at work on hole 1 through 6 clearing new dead fall and old dead fall for that matter. Hole 1 is coming along nicely, Hole 2 need's some love, Hole 3, 4 and 5 are looking very tasty! Bear Scat hole 6 is coming along as well but need's another few hours of work. Tournament central needs like a full day of chainsaw work but we sure wont have a lack of fire wood! The course is playing well despite the dead fall all of the holes are maked with ribbon or tape for the casual player who wants to sneak a round in before the tourney. Check the Helena weather if you would like to play in a tag round at the pass we will be holding Sunday noon league up there if it's not raining or snowing! The ChainStar is in for the raffle, what a SWEET basket!
We played the newly proposed Safari 12 hole course this weekend and it was long but very fun
! The layout as of now is as follows play hole 1 then 2 to 3, play hole 4, then 5 to 6, then 7(K2) to 8(Everest) which is sickening, then 9 to 10, played hole 11 and 12 as is then hole 13(honey hole) to 14, then 15(Bread) to 16(Butter) and to finish 17 and 18 as usual. Low score was 6 over if we play all as 3. The layout might change a little but not much.
Doubles teams that I know of are Jason Schmidt and Sevilla, Ekman and Jeremy Bauer, Jeff and Nicholson, Brian B and ?
he won't say but my hunch is Willard...don't know for sure but I have a strong feeling.
Anyway all that I can say is look out for the SS
Well as an added bonus for online registration the first 25 current PDGA members signed up will recieve a personalized PDGA mini with their personal PDGA number on the front
The first 25 will also recieve a T-Shirt with the current CC logo
