Registration is now open for the 3rd Annual Aloha Sushi Classic to be held March 21-22 here in Walla Walla. We are once again proud to be the first stop in the Washington State Series and look forward to kicking off another great year of disc golf. As an added bonus for all you advanced players this year's Aloha is the first Am Nationals Qualifier to be offered in Washington State, check out www.amnationals.com for more info. The flyer is available at our website www.fortwallawalladiscgolf.com or you can register online at www.titledisc.com
The format this year is different from last, we will be playing 2 rounds of 29, it would have been only 27 but the extra 2 holes are necessary to tie the course together which will play in a different order from last year to alleviate bottlenecks, plus with only 4 to a tee, play should run nice and smooth. The final 9 will only be for the top 4 open players, which I can guarantee will be both informative and entertaining. All players will receive a player's pack and we will have CTP's, a raffle, and a ring of fire.
With play ending earlier on Saturday more players will have the opportunity to take advantage of the 10% off coupon that will come in your player's packs for our title sponsor Aloha Sushi located in Downtown Walla Walla. A host hotel is in the works and I will post that information as soon as it is available.
We are looking forward to a great event and hope you can come.

Did WiiNut get his PDGA registration taken care of then? I was looking forward to seeing the increase.

Alex Gignoux, sorry Alex.
Bummer of a finish for me...dropped like 5 strokes in the last 5-6 holes and ended up out of final nine by 2. Through 22 of the 29 holes I was cruising into some afternoon golf but started freaking out a little bit too much after some stupid mistakes, and sometimes that's how it goes. Wee Shane cashed, as did McCoy with a nice last round. Brian got spit out on his last hole to miss cash by one stroke. Jack was a few behind Brian but also played well. Kelsey and Karen represented very well as well. It was a very tough field and there was no free lunch to be had out there. I never seem to do as well as I'd like in this tournament, but it was a fun one to get under the belt as a first tourney of the year. Thanks to all who helped out with the tournament and I wish Skins was this upcoming weekend!
did Wii accept the CA$H??????????? or voucher?
Results are up, sorry for the delay.

Christian:
I just want to vouch for how great this tournament is, and encourage everyone to try to make what is easily one of top two or three tournaments within "driving distance" for missoulians (it's the same distance as Billings, about). The course is very well designed and is a really tough challenge to play cleanly and stay in-bounds...you really do get the score you deserve; the player field is always excellent, the payouts are good, and the tournament is impeccably run; the sushi is seriously hands down the best i've ever had; $60 for the host hotel is a RIDICULOUS deal...it may be the "comfort inn" but it is comparable to the nicest we have in the 'zoo (i think rooms are usually $129 from what i remember from the back of the door...plus, there is surely a campground or yard available if totally necessary, but like i said the hotel deal is crazy...last year I called and the front desk said they thought i was mistaken on the $60, because they hadn't heard of any special rates below $80 at the lowest.
In sum: the best early season tournament in our region hands down. GCF should try to get a couple of carloads and rooms to split and try to go down and dominate!
Another reason to go is to see Dave and Avery (if they make it again). Final 9 for top 4 open pros only means that there will be some really awesome spectator action, which I very much hope not to be a part of
until then it's putt putt putt!! putt putt putt!! every day til aloha!! i'll be there, will you?
