I was just wondering what everyone thought the longest whole in Montana could be?
(Requirements being that it is playable now or during a Montana Tournament.)
Are we talking longest hole on either a permanent or temp course? If so I would say either 11 or 15 on the Fort Zoo course. If not, probably hole 7 at Snowbowl. I think its like 1050 feet or right around there.
I thought the longest Fort Missoula hole was closer to 900 ft?
Definitely not here. I would say just about any Swards Ranch hole??
don't think $ward$ has anything over 600ft... did I once see distances for $wards posted here???
Definitely it would be hole 7 at Snow Bowl here in Missoula....sits at 1050ft. as stated by B-Mac.
Hole 3 Red at Diamond X feels pretty long too, but the uphill and OB help that quite a bit.
Any hole I snowman or worse
Longest hole in MT? May be Sno Blow but who plays there? Who would actually brag to anyone about SB? Z and his good ole buddy PK? The con-artists of the old school way? How about narrowing it down to the quality courses that deserve the title. Just a thought.
Nice! That is some old school grousing! I have not heard those moans in seven years.
Thanks for reminding me of simpler times, doublecyc.

well, off the top of my head, my vote/guess would be Snow Bowl #7 (i think its 7). Doesn't play the furthest, but is marked something over 1000
