So in all the excitement for state doubles, I forgot to mention our Community Park celebration tourney on July 4th at 1 pm. Sign up by 1230pm. This tourney is strictly for fun, with a couple prizes for winners, but really, it's a fundraiser for Big Sky Community Park. The cost is 10 dollars, individual stroke play, and will be 18 holes. There is also a mountain bike race, skateboard demo, basketball tourney, and kids events. bsccmt.org Our new discs will be for sale ( you will get one with your entry if you play dubs on the 17th ), and players get a free burger or dog between 11am and 2pm. Also, fireworks that night and the first concert in our new Town Center Pavillion! Playing is a nine piece funk blues band from Seattle called Freddy Pink, but you could do what I'm gonna do and haul ass to Driggs ID after the tourney to catch Widespread Panic at the Spud! I'm pretty sure you could make it there with almost an hour to spare. So there it is, hope to see some of you, hope to see ALL if you for the dubs tourney!
22 competitors, I somehow miraculously strung together 3 deuces in a row to win with a 50. I didn't have a single 4 all day. My very first placing of any kind besides dubs games.
