This is the first stop on

This is the first stop on the MT Points Series. Who's gonna get their name on the Cup this year? Unfortunately, I won't be in attendence, but anyone looking for GCF gear or membership can talk to Steve Sevilla.

Good Luck to all!!

Good luck to all that play. Winter is hitting CO late this year. Supposed to get a foot of snow or more sat. Last week we had 16 inches.....

Arm is slowly coming around however it is highly likely I will be able to play seriously again.... Sad( Just can't take the risk of not being able to utilize my arm in the future.

Damn backhands...............

C U Later,
Koz

Update

25 Golfers made it out to the X yesterday for the Fling. 14 Open 6 Adv 3 Masters 1 Woman and 1 Int. The first round was rather windy and chilly. After the first Round Damien was in the lead at 53 with Christian right on his heals with a 54. I was playing my usual up and down game and shot a 64 and was tied for DFL. Adam Decker from Billings shot a 57 the first round and never looked back to take the Adv Crown. Rick Nicholson took it to his other Master counterparts of Doc and Tolo. and shot a 55 the first round and 59 the second and winning by 8. The Second round after a great lunch from Rocket burrito was a much better improvement weather wise and score wise. In the Open there was some big turn arounds and lots of low scores. Mike Pekovich shot an astounding 47 for a possible course record. Shaving 12 strokes from the dismal first round. Christian in the end took the Open title with a sweet round of 49 ending 5 down for the day. Mikes second round from the second card was good enough to tie him with Damien for Second Place. In the Tie Breaker Damien and Mike both had great drives to hole 1 and Damiens huge drive got him in close proximity to the basket and netted him a ridiculous duece on Hole 1. Jake and Sawyer tied for second in Adv and Jake to it to Sawyer after duecing the second playoff hole to take the hardware. From the Last Flight in the Open which Levi and I had shot 10 up the first round we both had stellar rounds to make up some major ground. Levi had a 11 stroke turnaround and shot 1 down and for most of the round was even lower than that. I some how kept my composure from taking a triple circle 9 on 17 Black the first round and shot a 51 with 7 birdies and completed a 13 stroke turnaround. My efforts were rewarded by moving me from 14th place to a tied with Travis for 5th and the last cash spot. Matt Noell took 4th. and there was a 4 way tie for 7th with Alex, Steve, Jason and Levi. Cary, Jeremiah, Jeff and Seth rounded out the rest of the field. Seth did not finish after carding a 63 the first round and having played all day with him I can attest that he was getting no such love from the X. In the Adv. Breaden took 4th, follwed by Andrew and first time X'er Mike Furlong from Helena. Our Int. dropped out after the first round as well. Thanks for everyone that made it and hope to see more of you in a month in Bozeman! 9 of us played a 12 hole random draw Doubles round out on my course after the tourney and some hoe the Open and Adv winners were a team. they shot 8 down through 12 holes and ended up tieing for the win with Seth who played California. Peace Out Smile

saw cary had some pics on his twitter/FB, looked like a typical rocky mtn springtime day
full results still not on the pdga- open only when I just checked...

had my own 11stroke turnaround at flip city(http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=468) after a heckuva mental breakdown in the a.m., however I still managed to salvage the DFL distinction, so I got that goin for me...

In the one person womens division, Crystal Cipriani, in her first tourney ever, shot an 85, 80 in the mud and snow. She took the box on one hole with a birdie on alt 5 when none of the masters could manage one and on alt 9, the difficult, straight up the hill hole, she was staring at a 15 ft putt for par while balancing on top of the boulder directly in front of the basket. She missed the putt but with a little basket practice I'm betting it wont happen again. Great job Crystal, I'm looking forward to more tourney golf with you this summer.

I'm finally getting around to

I'm finally getting around to getting the points updated and was wondering where I could find the standings for the Ams for this event?
