Pattee Rounds' Meet Up Spot
We should instead of meeting up on hole 1 and thus causing a back up of groups there, we should meet at the end of hole 2. There we can split out in 3 directions, hole 3, 9, & 14. Thus ending the round w/ all groups comming back to same area. It'll end the 30min wait the last group has before they start. This I think is where the half hour is getting wasted.

No more rounds @ Blue until those damned skeeters are dead! DEAD I TELL YA!
Yes Pattee is more crowded now, but my groups haven't had any lengthy wait times during previous rounds this year, nor have had any conflict with the muggles.
I'd spray the whole course if I could. DIE! SKEETER DIE!
Excellent use of the term muggle! And as for the nixing of Blue rounds till the mosquitoes are dead I'm down!
Didn't think the squitos were that bad last week, but can see how some would think so. We don't play Blue for 2 weeks, so lets wait and see what they're like before we change the 7/29 round as the first 2 weeks in August are already scheduled for Pattee.
I would be all for starting the BT rounds at Pattee from the hole 3 area EXCEPT that I think it would encourage MANY more people to cut across the swamp/wet area to get there. We, as Club members, are supposed to be setting an example of not unnecessarily damaging the resource by playing bonus holes, creating/helping to establish trails across the wet area, etc... As I've seen several BT'ers cut across the wet area to get to hole 1, I can't help but envision many more cutting across it to get to hole 3 to start then cutting back across it to get back to the parking lot following the round, so lets continue to gather near the tee of hole 1 and flight out from there. If people want to jump ahead and start from 2, 3, 9, 14, 17, or 18 then that would be encouraged.
we all know the skeeter aren't going anywhere in two weeks... if 7/29 is at Blue, I'll be playing Pattee... who's comin' with me?
So in addition to Bob's post above, someone else pointed out that not everyone grew up in the land where squitos are the size of sparrows, so next week's BT round, July 29, will be at Pattee starting at 5:30.
Bob, can you change the schedule on the homepage?
I do not mind, although I reserve the right to make fun of anyone who thinks this is a bad skeeter year. Bob.

Thanks for bringing this up, there was quite a bit of talk leaning towards this... I am ALL FOR IT.
YES and YES!
