For those who still don't know how to read...lol in the Master Plan!!!

6h. Expanded Summer Use
Summer use would continue on the same schedule as it is now with a gradual expansion and
improvement of facilities including more summer trails for mountain biking and hiking and more
modern upper mountain guest facilities. With the construction of the “C lift and the guest
service facilities on the summit of TV Mountain more of the summer activity would be centered
there. Hiking/mountain biking trails would be constructed from the TV Mountain summit to
connect with the existing trails. As shown on the map, one new trail would come down the west
side of TV Mountain and join the Point 6 road (one of the existing trails). Another trail would
leave the summit of TV Mountain along ski trail B112 to the Spartan saddle where riders could
either take the existing 2nd Thought trail (#18) to the base or ride up hill on a new trail across
Mission Magic (#9) to the top of the Grizzly lift. There they would hook up with existing trail
that goes through the Bowls, Longhorn and Paradise to reach the base area. A folf course may
be added on TV Mountain.

I have seen a map of the proposed course. I believe it was Brad that showed me the plans for the course around TV Mountain. It exists....read the last sentance.

Apparently you don't either.

Apparently you don't either. This proposal says MAYBE! Which in my mind, seeing how Sh*tbowl treats us summer users, will most likely never happen. But hey, we can keep you updated in ten years on this! Don't get me wrong though, the course is pretty fun, but we get treated like dirt up there.

Yes

I am guessing that Brad was showing me the plans when I was meeting with him to organize the 2007 Black Diamond Challenge. He wants to have two courses that can accommodate a large tourney. He is also looking for someone to run the tourney.

HA HA! Really, after everything that has happened up there, he still expects to get help with running his tourney?!?!?! Wow, better start sucking up to every DG'er in Montana...

Where's this map?

Also, since you have seen this "proposed" layout, could you link us to that map? They have maps for their proposed ski and bike trails posted, but I see no mention of a "disk golf" course as they spell it. If there is a map that you can link us too, I won't doubt it anymore. But until then I call BS.

Map

I would call the company he is contracted with or call Brad direct...I believe he has it hanging on the wall of his office...or maybe on the bookshelf next to the door.

Well

I think it would be an opportunity for them to have a real layout that doesn't cross roads or bike trails. I may even have to call him after I start working for Gateway to see if he wants us to design the course..."dreaming of the first Montana course to use Titans"....lol.

I honestly don't think that

I honestly don't think that Snowbowl would shell out the money to have a professional course designer come up and design a course, let alone pay for 18 $400 baskets. IMO talking to them about another course is a lost cause...
