I see the Vikes just signed Javon Walker. McCoy you want to jump ship and join el Presidente and I in our quest to see the purple people eaters hoist the Lombardi trophy?

We need a GCF fantasy league.

RAIDERS

The Oakland Raiders are looking decent this year. Now I wonder if they can keep it up?

Get ahead of the game...throw Gateway!!!

Looking decent and being

Looking decent and being decent are very different things. Almost every team looks decent right now and everyone is optimistic for their team since they all have the same record right now. I'd like to jump on the Viking bandwagon because they look very decent but I am not sure if all their peices will fall into place like they hope. Would be nice to see Favre win so he would go away.

tough season ahead for most

should be a very difficult season for most of the rest of the NFL, as the denver broncos are pretty much a lock to go 19-0 and hoist the lombardi trophy. i really can't see anyone else coming very close, unfortunately, raiders and vikes included, although i wouldn't mind seeing the old man have one last good run at it...best case scenario is that the vikes get to the super bowl, then favre is injured after a heroic drive to take a 7-0 lead, and then watches kyle orton carve up his defense for the first 100-point, 1000-yard day in super bowl history. win-win, since favre will have left with the lead and will have gotten as close as possible to another SB win. with the broncos looking as fearsome as they currently do, though, another SB win isn't in the cards for any NFC (or AFC, for that matter) team.

yep

Though I know you are joking, best remove that one Russ. As far as the Vikings go I really like the talent (when healthy) we have on team. I would really like the Vikings if they would have traded AP for a quarterback who could have a future along with all the other young talent. It wouldn't have taken much to re-sign Chester Taylor with a short down back like Toby Gerhart. We would have a future but instead we have this season and the unknown. + Farve is looking like he hit up a few too many BBQs down south again. His wranglers have elastic.

funny line

there was a funny quote from the commisioner of the NFL. He said "Many fans are disappointed by the quality of the preseason games."

they're preseason games. They're practice.

I mean, what are we talking about?
Practice? Practice!?

then how about Tom "The Man" Brady saying, "I hate the jets." I love it.

Pats win it all.

LMAO

Hmmm...Rams beat Pats after using the first line for only one half and Pats leave their first line in until the middle of the fourth quarter...I don't see Pats winning playing like that. Beer
