Ok, so here goes. We are going all out this year, with 3 days of disc golf and 2 nights of 4 bands each, directly at the campsite, along with a restaurant, bar, late night DJ's, fishing, tubing, and a genuine good time. All just a week or so before you kids head back to school! Camping, music, and all the generally good times will be going down at the Cinnamon Lodge this year, 10 miles south of the disc course on highway 191 right next to the Gallatin River, with tent camping for numerous hundreds, and cabins for a few, along with restaurant, bar, music, and everything else you could want. More details to come, but book your cabins, and see more at www.cinnamonlodgeandadventures.com but please don't book all the cabins, cause they are cheap! 50 bucks cheap. Festy tickets will be separate from all disc golf tourneys, and all bands will be playing after tourneys conclude. We have not decided on cost yet, and bands are currently partially booked, but they are all awesome. I promise you that. Probably gonna be a 30 or 35 dollar camping/festy total cost.
Disc golf information is as follows:
Friday August 19th- one round of random doubles at 3pm for early birds. Pins will be same placements as Saturday morning. Cost will be cheap, probably 5 bucks.
Saturday August 20- 2 rounds of 18 holes singles, with divisions, Cash, etc. Cost and division information coming soon. Baskets will be moved between rounds.
Sunday August 21st- Discraft Ace Race! 25 dollars per player. Each player gets 2 prototype Discraft Ace Race discs and hucks for hole in ones! Baskets will be pulled close, and mulligans will be for sale. You must throw the prototype discs, and the most aces wins a large Discraft prize pack. There will also be an ace pot for added cash. 2 rounds of 18, starting at noon, should be done by 5 or so for all you out of towners. For more info visit www.discgolfacerace.com you must preregister for this event and I will have more info on that very soon as well.
There will be tubing down the Gallatin with shuttles back to camp and music, along with crystal cave exploration very close by for all you hippies. Bands confirmed from Billings- The Sons of Billings, and The What. A Who cover band. 4 bands from Salt Lake City, along with a large contingent of Northern Utah disc golfers, one killer band from Bozeman, and one killer band from Missoula. There it is.

Solitude or Big Sky... Solitude or Big Sky... Solitude or Big Sky... Solitude or Big Sky... oh the choices we have to make!
I pissed some of my Utah buddies off with that one. But they are coming here if that gives you any idea of how fun and hassle/stress free this will be.
The old, unused currently, back 9 may come into play on Friday and Saturday if everyones ok with a few cloth baskets, and a little added distance. Probably just Friday dubs. And I will try to tone down that glow disc, or maybe you should just get one of your own, haha!
